The Fiat 600 was announced at the Geneva Show in 1955 was a four-seater within the same overall dimensions as the popular 500. The Multiple announced in 1956 replaced the earlier estates and accommodated not fewer than six people in a vehicle less than a foot longer than the basic 600.
